Our executive team is made up experienced professionals who are passionate about breaking down barriers for people with vision loss across the country. Together, they work to ensure VLRC is able to provide outstanding vision loss rehabilitation to thousands of people nationwide, each and every day.

Jennifer Urosevic, President and CEO
Jennifer has spent more than 25 years leading various aspects of vision rehabilitation services, and has presented globally on a variety of topics including early skills in orientation and mobility, accessibility of the built environment, and pathways to vision rehabilitation. As President & CEO she develops and oversees the execution of VLRC’s strategic and operational plans and corporate objectives across all sites and develops plans to achieve growth and opportunities for additional funding and expansion. She is passionate for driving organizational culture of staff wellbeing, service excellence and commitment to the delivery of the highest quality of programs for blind and partially sighted clients served by the organization. Jennifer’s commitment to client centered care has led VLRC to develop various integrated care models and services so that Canadians with vision loss can live the life they choose.

Josie McGee, Vice President, Health Care Innovation
Josie is the executive lead for government relations, business development, and the growth of Vision Loss Rehabilitation Canada. She is an occupational therapist with more than 20 years of previous health care and business development experience. Before joining the team in 2019, she held the role of National Director, Health Care Innovation at CBI Health Group. Outside of work, Josie truly treasures spending quality time with her family and her beloved dog. She also finds great joy in cooking, travelling, and reading.

Christopher McLean, Vice President, Health Care Operations
Christopher ensures the efficient functioning of Vision Loss Rehabilitation Canada’s health care services, ensuring high-quality service delivery to our clients. Before taking on this role, Christopher previously served as the VP of Service Quality and Health Standards at VLRC. He joined us in 2018 after 15 years with CNIB, where he held progressive roles in philanthropy, government relations, and rehabilitation service management. He is the former Board Chair of Halton Family Services. Christopher supports local arts and culture events and loves exploring main streets to find bookstores and bargains on vinyl records.

Angelina Algranti, Vice President, People and Culture
Angelina is responsible for the People and Culture team for Vision Loss Rehabilitation Canada’s to drive our organization towards our strategic goals. Before joining the team in 2023, she held the Director, People and Culture at CNIB. Outside of work, Angelina loves staying active by walking around 13,000 steps each day. She's also passionate about reading and usually finishes at least one book every month.

Kim Sankey, Executive Director, Healthcare Operations, Western Canada
In her role at Vision Loss Rehabilitation Canada, Kim is responsible for health care operations and service delivery in Western Canada. She joined the organization in 2022, contributing more than 20 years of experience in physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and health care leadership to the team. Kim is an avid runner who isn’t afraid of the wildlife she encounters on mountain trails.

Dan Vodon, Executive Director, Manitoba & Saskatchewan
In his role at Vision Loss Rehabilitation Canada, Dan oversees health care operations and service delivery in Central Canada. Dan has over 22 years of experience with CNIB and VLRC and holds certifications in Vision Rehabilitation Therapy and Low Vision. Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time with his family, baseball, and staying active through various physical activities.

Lisa Tyrrell, Executive Director, Health Care Operations, Ontario
Lisa is responsible for leading the incredible team in Ontario for Vision Loss Rehabilitation Canada. She is a certified low vision specialist and started her work in the field as an early intervention specialist. As the executive director for health care operations in Ontario, she now has the opportunity to meet and work with staff across the province. She feels privileged to have been part of the journey for nearly 20 years as a team member of Vision Loss Rehabilitation Canada and, previously, CNIB.

Pamela Gow-Boyd, Executive Director, Health Care Operations, Atlantic Canada
Pamela has over 35 years of experience with VLRC and, prior to that, CNIB where she started as an independent living/orientation and mobility specialist. Passionate about client-centered care, Pamela has a track record of engaging our talented teams and developing community partnerships to successfully deliver on strategic priorities. Outside of work, Pam finds joy in baking, reading psychological thrillers, venturing out for ocean kayaking and spending time at the beach.

Christine Davidson-Hedden, Senior Executive Lead, Training and Operations
Christine oversees training initiatives for Vision Loss Rehabilitation Canada (VLRC) operations and provides valuable support to the executive leadership team. With over 18 years of combined experience in administration at both VLRC and previously CNIB, Christine brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Outside of work, she enjoys the serenity of kayaking and the elegance of ballroom dancing.

Ruth Millard, Executive Business Lead, Board Relations and Governance
Ruth supports the National Board and the National Committees in their role to steward and govern VLRC. She joined VLRC in 2022 after 10 years with CNIB, where she held roles in volunteer management, program delivery in the areas of sports and recreation, vision mate, and peer support. She is the former President of Volunteer Management Professionals Canada. When she's not working, Ruth keeps busy with volunteering and participating in community fairs, always finding ways to connect and give back. Additionally, she is always eager to explore the great outdoors as an avid hiker, cyclist, and kayaker.

Shannon Foster, Executive Lead, Strategic Integration
Shannon leads the alignment of Vision Loss Rehabilitation Canada’s core strategies with business operations, ensuring seamless integration across teams and initiatives. Since joining VLRC in 2022, she has played a key role in embedding care models into the broader Canadian healthcare system and advancing strategic and operational planning. Outside of work, Shannon is an avid hiker, reader, and a devoted fan of the beautiful game.

Shane Guadeloupe, Manager, Marketing and Communications
Shane leads the strategic direction for Vision Loss Rehabilitation Canada’s marketing and communications at the national level, encompassing internal communications, brand management and public relations. Joining VLRC in 2023, Shane brings over a decade of marketing and communications expertise across a diverse range of industries. When she's not working, Shane enjoys perusing through cookbooks, taking long walks, and caring for her lush indoor jungle of tropical plants.
