Our Story

Vision Loss Rehabilitation Canada (VLRC) was founded in 2017 to address the increasing need for professional vision loss rehabilitation services across Canada. Today, we are Canada's leading provider of vision loss rehabilitation, habilitation and health services for Canadians living with blindness or partial vision.

VLRC’s vision is to maximize the health and independence of all individuals with vision loss and blindness through access to service, collaboration and innovation.

VLRC operates clinics across all provinces except Quebec and offers services in all three territories. We deliver health care in hospitals, long-term care, communities, workplaces, and homes, both virtually and in person. VLRC's services are integrated into Canada’s health care system, and we collaborate with partner health service providers nationwide. Our programs provide multidisciplinary solutions to fill care gaps and reduce the burden on the Canadian health care system.
