Referrals for Children
To get started, speak to your ophthalmologist, optometrist or health care professional about your child’s vision. They understand your child’s vision and can help decide whether, and when, rehabilitation therapy is right for your child.

Referrals for children
In Ontario, Blind Low Vision (BLV) services for infants and preschoolers with vision loss are available through regional Children’s Treatment Centres. CNIB is an important partner with the BLV program.
